Summer break
Season 5 has come to an end and I’m taking a well-deserved break over the summer, but Robot Talk will be returning for a new season in September.
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be attending the Smart City Robotics Competition in Milton Keynes in a few weeks time, where I’ll be chatting to competitors, exhibitors, and attendees about the latest innovations in robotics.
Participants will compete in different challenges, including social interactions in a coffee shop or as a home assistant; mobile manipulation to open a door; and pack shopping.
The event is open to the public and free to attend, so if you’re in the area, why not pop by and check it out? There is also a public Smart City and Robotics Symposium happening on Tuesday 23rd September, which is free to register.
I’ll be releasing some clips from the event as a special bonus episode on Patreon next month.
